Third Annual Asian Islamic Banking and Finance Summit

The Annual Asian Islamic Banking and Finance Summit takes place 5-6 September 2006 at The Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

The Asian Islamic Finance Summit is focused on the latest developments of Islamic finance in Southeast Asia and in the rest of the world, to compare practices between regions and to meet regulators, top-level practitioners as well as eminent Sharia scholars. According to the organiser, Euromoney, some of the most distinguished players involved in Islamic finance will be attending the conference.

The programme will propose an overview of the progress of Islamic finance in different Asian countries and offer views from central banks' governors of the region.
